A native 3ds Max plugin, written in C++ with the MaxSDK, that mirrors morph targets — something 3ds Max didn't do on its own.
Started right after 3D school. 3ds Max had no built-in way to mirror morph targets (blendshapes), so artists relied on scripts of varying quality or very manual tricks. Knowing 3ds Max and C/C++, and wanting to dig into native development for it, I built a plugin that handles the mirroring properly.
Roles
Wrote a native 3ds Max plugin in C++ with the MaxSDK that mirrors morph targets properly — the first real dive into 3ds Max native development.
Highlights
- Automates the process of mirroring morph targets
- Integrates seamlessly into the 3ds Max environment
- Provides a more efficient and less manual method for handling morph targets
